APANY forges new connections in Nassau County NY

On Wednesday September 24th, 2014 Carlson Connor-Lloyd ,President of the Anguilla Progressive Association of New York, Inc. (APANY) had a cordial meeting with Siela Bynoe, Legislator for Nassau District. At this meeting they held an open discussion about business in general in this district and the integral role that nonprofit organizations play within the community. Ms Seila Bynoe showed great interest for the work that APANY do and expressed a willingness to support the association's efforts to achieve its goals. Mr. Connor was invited to attend future seminars, workshops and other meetings related to The Nassau County NY community development programs. An invitation was also extended to connect with the Long Island Chamber of Commerce for sharing knowledge and learning from best practices.The management of APANY will embrace this opportunity to forge new partnership opportunities that will help the association accomplish its mission.
